This show was first broadcast on 11 March 2009.

  2. I am much proud about the slogan of the ruling party: “Together we can..” Yes long ago we came togerther and we have done whatever possible. Now we need that two-thirds majority so we can do more than we have. Pele ka lerumo la setshaba pele. Maatla kea rena Viva ANC viva.

  3. Mindlo says:

This is one of the best shows ever, the presenter is fair to everyone and he is not biased. Was disappointed not to see PAC on the panel as I believe they have made an effort in this province (Western Cape), especially during the N2 Gateway Joe Slovo issues.

I suggest that this should be a continuous program that must also go to institutions of higher learning and invite different political youth formations.

  4. Thembani Mnconywa says:

It is so exciting that the current government has allowed space for all political parties to campaign. This shows that the young democracy is growing and South Africans can express their views on how the government should govern.

    Hi There,

I really like the show and the quality of the video is clear and excelllent. I will really like to encourage the presenter to invite the politicians again so that we can have a follow up.I am in UK now and when I watch your show I feel like I am in South Africa. All the best to the voters in South Africa and I hope that we will have peaceful elections. We should show the world that we have matured within the past 15 years and that we can conduct these elections as free and fair. The world is watching us South Africans. I urge all of you to behave and conduct yourself well..

WOW what great “edutainment” – this is by far some of the greatest coverage on the elections. It was hot and kept me wanting to hear what would happen next. The comedian really helped calm things a little as the debate was highly emotional and intellectually stimulating!! I love the style in which the show is shot – the camera work was exceptional in capturing reaction shots when the politicians where not always aware and this allowed me to see the leaders when the are not performing, but rather as they are! The presenter is on point – really he asks hard question with absolutely no fear!!!! Man i am 24 and very excited to be voting for the second time. My vote has changed from what it was as I too have matured and realised the essence of who I am and what I stand for! I will not stop voting but I want to create ways to assist our politicians in creating a South Africa we can all be proud of. I complete my masters in a months time and as soon as I am done I will use my studies to become the change I want to see in the world. Thank you to the producers of the show for providing us with another option to the biased coverage of the election we have been watching of late and I truly commend you for the concept of taking topical issues to the people in the way that you have!! I will not miss the next episode and look forward to seeing what your team has instore for our nation. To the leaders I shall say “this is above all- to thine own self be true” taken from Hamlet and still relevant today!!!!! Lead our country in truth!!!!

  7. Patrick says:

Engaging, informative and real…fantastic work on building dialogue and education about socio-economic development and democracy!!!

  8. BOFELO says:

Hi, I like the way ANC ccelebrated its closing “REA HLOLA” Rally. What is more interesting is that it did not talk about any opposition party, It only concentrated on its affairs. So I’m saying congradulations ANC., and I can predict that you are going to make it in the elections on Wednesday. thanks!

  9. Dumisani Mkhize says:

Just an observation, the ANC T-shirts have a picture of Zuma, while other parties don’t have a picture of their leader. Does this mean the ANC puts loyalty on an idividual instead of the people it is supposed to serve? (Of course, the latest goings on somewhat confirms this)

  10. I really do not get Coloureds of Cape Town or South Africa in general, I mean many of them look as black as Kenneth Kaunda, but they consider themselves non-Blacks.

It’s so sad, and this is really a painful wound that needs be dealt with as soon as possible We are one people. Anyway, Blacks are a majority and Blacks have allowed the rest of the citizens of S. Africa to lead the best lives imaginable in the world, mostly at their expense.

    Viva ANC…Viva Jacob Zuma, Viva
